Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue has been caring for abused, abandoned, and unwanted domestic rabbits since. 1986. We are a 501 C3, all volunteer run, no kill shelter. We assist county agencies in abuse cases, working closely with the Arizona Humane Society. We currently have over 140 rabbits at our shelter.
Our rabbit rescue is located in Scottsdale, about 5 minutes from Paradise Valley Mall. Other locations include our thrift store & adoption center, at 14644 N Cave Creek Rd, in Phoenix, & other pet store locations in Glendale & Scottsdale, for additional adoption events.
We have an active youth volunteer program & welcome groups as well. A waiver form needs to be signed by a parent if you are under the age of 18.
Our youth volunteer program is held on Saturdays only.
We need help with rabbit care (brushing, nail clipping, & providing attention), shelter cleaning, and special events. Our adult volunteers also foster rabbits, drive rabbits to their spay/neuter appointments & to the vet, volunteer at the thrift store, compose articles for the newsletter, provide adoption counseling, educate the public on rabbits, and participate in special animal events in the community.
Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering with our rabbit rescue! No experience is necessary; we will happily assist you in learning more about rabbits & their care.
