Pathways is a non-profit volunteer organization of "People Helping People" Here at Pathways we have been assisting older adults in our local communities for over 38 years. We provide compassionate care and services at no cost. Pathways empowers older adults to find solutions that will help them remain safe and independent in their homes for as long as possible. Our Volunteers provide friendly visits and companionship for our Older Adult clients. Many clients live alone or do not have friends or family. Pathways has a variety of clients and volunteer opportunities to offer you. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of others, and supporting your local community by Volunteering, please call our office directly for more information. We are currently welcoming volunteers who would like to join our volunteer team and help our clients with running errands, grocery shopping and or making food & supply deliveries. We are currently in need of Handyman service volunteers who can assist our clients at home with minor repairs or things like small household repairs, smoke detectors, or assembly of fixtures such as guard rails ect.. We are currently looking for Handyman Volunteers who would like to help out our older adult clients living in the City of Paramount. Our Home Safety program in Paramount is in place to assist our clients with small household repairs, assembly of fixtures, installation of safety grab bars, ect. We also replace smoke detectors, change lightbulbs & batteries, and other minor repairs as needed.
