Pregones Theater's mission is to create and perform contemporary theater rooted in Puerto Rican and Latino artistic and musical expressions; and to present artists from diverse cultures, offering Latinos and other communities an artistic means to participate in society.

Description

Pregones Theater's institutional vision sustains the artistic excellence and broad cultural merit of Latino performing arts in the United States. The company brings professional Latino performing arts programming to a general audience; creates new arts access opportunities for largely underserved Latinos locally, regionally, and nationally; provides professional stability to Latino actors, musicians, directors, designers, writers and technical collaborators dedicated to invigorating the cultural life of all audiences; and actively contributes towards a public dialogue on Latino arts and culture.
