Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

We’re HERE to HELP alleviate challenges that prevent individuals from maximizing their abilities. Our mission is to encourage economically and academically disadvantaged youth to further their education and guide the way for women to reach their full potential.
The purpose of the We’re HERE To HELP (WHTH) Integrated Training and Personal Advancement for Youth Success (IT PAYS) program is to encourage youth who display potential for higher education attainment and workforce opportunities. Program goals include personality, self-confidence and self-esteem development; educational enrichment; resume building; job and life readiness training and promotion of parental involvement. Activities include book scholarship awards; life skills workshops; networking opportunities; peer-to-peer events; resources for additional financial aid and internship opportunities; student newsletter and care packages.
Our organization recognizes that many women suffer from low self-confidence/esteem, lack marketable skills or have not experienced the rewarding employment advancement for which they may qualify. In an effort to address these issues, The WHTH Sisters is Service (SIS) program will partner with other like-minded organizations that provide services for women. Collaborative efforts will include the provision of social services such as: information about resources for women; workshops, seminars, programmatic curriculum and open discussion regarding topics of interest and concern to women at all ages and stages; job/employment training and entrepreneurship exploration.
