The Love Muffin Project

It was a niche event - cocktails and tasting and an awesome cause. The volunteer experience itself is another story. Ahead of the event, there were email communication re who the assistants and the actual owner of the event were. However, when all the volunteers arrived, we just sat around with no direction. The assistants did not introduce themselves and the event owner did not even show up until half hour or an hour later. Quite awkward. Then they announced volunteers will be treated to a meal...but only 6(?) seats are available. I would suggest that if not all would get a meal, at least provide the rest with some snacks.
