Mission Statement

Literacy is the foundation for all formal learning. Rocket Reader's primary goal is to help children achieve reading proficiency level by third grade.

Description

Rocket Reader is a tutoring program that seeks adult community volunteers who can donate an hour or two a week during school hours to work with first grade children who need extra help and attention in order to learn basic literacy skills.
