Do you have a heart to serve individuals experiencing homelessness in our community? Our Compassion Outreach is a weekly outreach where we go out into the community to build relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness while providing a meal, hygiene products, and clothing. We meet every Thursday evening at our Frontline Headquarters. Once there volunteers gather for a brief time of fellowship, training, and what to expect. The team then travels together in a Frontline Response van to engage with individuals who face the everyday struggle of survival on the streets in and around Metro Atlanta and the Dekalb County area. Vans will depart Frontline Response at 6:50 pm. The goal is to meet immediate needs and to form trusting relationships with our friends in order to help them transition off the street whenever they are ready to make that decision. Whatever their story or circumstance, we build intentional relationships and share not only a meal but an invitation to a new life. Must be 13 or older to participate. Volunteers under the age of 18 who would like to serve will need to have a parent or legal guardian complete a Parental Consent Form. Volunteer Role Hand out food bags to individuals in the community Build relationships through conversation Inform individuals of our homelessness hotline We look forward to serving with you on the frontlines! Frontline Response is a faith-based non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue men and women out of sex trafficking and homelessness and prevent the most vulnerable in society, our children from falling victim. Our street outreach, Princess Night, is one of our responses to combat the effects of human trafficking in and around the Metro Atlanta area. Every Friday evening, volunteers gather with our staff for our anti-sex trafficking outreach, Princess Night. Volunteers gather for a brief time of training to learn more about Frontline Response and what to expect during the outreach. The team travels together in a Frontline Response van to engage with individuals possibly being exploited in the commercial sex industry, offering prayer, resources, and hope. While engaging, deliver roses and handmade cards, communicating to women that they are valued and loved, and that there are opportunities for hope, rescue, and recovery. The cards include messages of encouragement and our 24/7 hotline number. Must be 16 or older to participate. Volunteers under the age of 18 who would like to serve will need to have a parent or legal guardian complete a Parental Consent Form.
