The mission of TIFA is to help break the cycle of crime by strengthening families through support, education, and advocacy.

Description

TIFA is an Austin-based nonprofit with has 19 (nineteen) chapters throughout the state of Texas. TIFA provides active educational, social and emotional supports to children, spouses, parents and other family members of men and women incarcerated in Texas prisons and jails, as well as interventions and activities to prevent the children of inmates from becoming involved in criminal behavior, and advocacy services to promote more humane treatment of incarcerated individuals.

Because my family know this experinces so well. From family been in prison. And experience a love one getting killed by workers in Jail. Want to Volunteer anyway I can.] Thank You Demetrice Washington
