Mission Statement

The Midland Jaycees are a group of young professional men and women ages 21 to 39 who want to make a positive difference in our community. The Midland Jaycees are also affiliated with The Michigan Jaycees, The U.S. Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International. Jaycee Creed We believe ... That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life. That the brotherhood of man transcends the soverignty of nations. That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise. That government should be of laws rather than of men. That Earth's great treasure lies in human personality. And that service to humanity is the best work of life!

The Midland Jaycees are a local not for profit organization that gives individuals age 21-39, an opportunity to gain leadership skills while making a positive impact on their community. Our programming offers members social opportunities, personal development, leadership skills, and community involvement opportunities. The Midland Jaycees have been offering our members an opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a wide variety of social, business, and community service projects since 1946. We have contributed to the betterment of our community through our involvement in projects such as: Spring Fling and Egg Hunt at the North Midland Family Center, Midland County Relay For Life, North Midland Family Center Thanksgiving Dinner, and Holiday shopping spree for underprivileged children. Numerous other local organizations have also benefited from our fundraising efforts. We are always looking to grow our organization whether through new programming or by adding new members. The Jaycee concept of Change your World is two fold change the world you live in by providing programs to and for the community or change your individual world by trying something new and learning new skills.
