Mission Statement

Central Texas Bee Rescue and Preserve is dedicated to saving and protecting the future of our nation's bee population. We want to become the extermination alternative, so that we can Save our Honey Bees! We feed, house, and continue to nurture the bees as we raise them out on our farm. We have harvesting projects for soap, candle, and chapstick production as well as honey and bee pollen. Our focus is to put a great percentage of our profits into scientific research and education.

Description

Central Texas Bee Rescue is a non-profit organization under the umbrella of Austin Community Foundation that relies on donations to serve the community. We specialize in all natural, environmentally friendly, bee hive removal, relocation, and rehabilitation in the greater Austin area. Our mission is to save and protect our nation's feral honey bee population, and we have already become the extermination alternative in Travis County. Central Texas Bee Rescue is the ONLY organization in Texas providing FREE bee hive removal to low income Texans.

This year we are working to expand our organization and we need eager volunteers, interested in and motivated by the plight of the honey-bee, to help with all aspects of bee keeping and rescue. Come help us in our efforts to save the honey bee and take our organization state wide!
