About Us

Jesus Vil Community Church is a non-profit 501(c3) interfaith organization serving and educating the New Jersey community for the past decade. Though JVCC provides traditional Church services such as Sunday worship and early morning prayer sessions, JVCC’s underlying vision and mission has always been to rehabilitate those in need, especially troubled youth, homeless people and the disadvantaged. Its founders, Rev. Dr. Byung Choi and his wife, Myung Hye Choi, began their journey in 1980 in Seoul, Korea where they first started the "House of Love," by offering their own home to those in need. Of their 1500 graduates, some have become missionaries, lawyers and business professionals. Both Drs. Choi continued their extensive training in Community Building worldwide, spending 7 years in Bradford and Birmingham, England as missionaries and Rev. Choi as a preaching pastor at John Bunyan in London. Since 2002, JVCC’s work continues in northern New Jersey and through their multi-faceted program, S.E.R.V.E (Shelter, Education, Rehabilitation, Vocational Training and Employment/Entre-preneurship), they plan to expand their services in the community to serve those in need. Please join us in celebration as we prepare to launch the "JVCC Art Program" and the "JVCC English as 2nd Language Program
