The purpose of this corporation shall be to support public school programs which further arts education in the schools, with a primary focus on high school level education at School of the Arts High School, a public high school in San Francisco, California

Description

Friends of SOTA Foundation is committed to supporting School of the Arts High School, a public high school in San Francisco. This high school is a charter school dedicated to providing preprofessional training in the performing and visual arts. In addition, students receive a high quality academic education, with the emphasis of integrating the arts in academic classwork. The Foundation has provided financial support to the 9 art disciplines offered at the school through a grant system. The foundation is 4 years old. We depend on funding through the following sources: grantwriting, alumni donations, and performance fundraisers.
