Mission Statement

The bWell Center is a health care start-up which aims to provide an innovative approach to educating and supporting families of the Boston Medical Center Pediatrics Department. The bWellCenter’s primary goal is to fill the support gap that can exist from shortened doctor visits and increasingly complex diagnoses and patient histories.

MISSION Improve health and wellness of Boston Medical Center pediatric patients by providing education and social support through the use of the patient navigation model, current technology, and community resources.


Description

ENABLE, EMPOWER, ENRICH The bWell Center provides patients, parents, and guardians with free health education. Staffed by volunteers, the bWell Center integrates programming and partnerships to create a dynamic and educational experience for patients.

Great experience for premedical students. Wonderful staff and awesome volunteer community. And best of all, you become acquainted with one of the largest hospitals in the city.
