Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue and re-home purebred Labrador Retrievers, and Labrador mixes that have the look and temperament of a Lab, into loving and caring homes. Our goal is to help shelters place a Lab that has reached "the time limit", take in the neglected and unwanted Labs, and those that have been injured.
Description
Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue was incorporated and received their 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service in 2005. In September, 2011 a branch of the organization was started in Wilmington,Delaware, so we could expand our adoption area to include New Jersey, southern Pennsylvania, all of Delawareand parts of Maryland. Our adoption program is run solely by dedicated volunteers. All monies raised through adoptions and fundraising goes into rehabilitation and caring for our rescued dogs.
