Mission Statement

It is the mission of Indy Sober Living to introduce the castaways of our society to a God who cares for them and give as many people as possible their best opportunity to achieve and maintain sobriety and to pursue a fulfilling life that is free from addiction to alcohol, drugs and other vices. We do this by:

1)Providing a safe home where the residents practice a sober lifestyle.

2)Using the Scriptures, Twelve Steps, and support groups to teach recovering addicts the strategies they need for re-entering society successfully.

3)Insisting on accountability and transparency, knowing that the person who hides is the person who has something to hide.

4)Making recovery exciting.

5)Helping the recovering addict reconnect with the important, sober people in his life.

Description

Indy Sober Living is a faith-based, sober-living home that strives to build healthy living skills. We focus on honesty, accountability, spirituality, productivity and integrity. Our clients include people who feel that their lives are out of control because of any of a number of addictions and compulsive behaviors, or because of recent homelessness or incarceration. Some are also on probation and parole, while others have discharged from Inpatient Treatment Centers, and still others are Drug Court Clients. We also have clients who have been referred to us from friends and family members, who are looking to find a new way of life in an alcohol- and drug-free environment. Our facility is located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, in the Lawrence area.
