The MOCA is a great place to volunteer during Art Walk. A time in which you are surround by a very lively and diverse atmosphere. Where you can meet new people who share your interest and more. I first volunteered on the first Art Walk of November 2010, there I had the chance of meeting with other volunteers and artistic individuals. During my volunteering I even approached to modeled for a designers purses, be apart of a local film, and talk one on one with a local successful artist. All while volunteering in the gift shop. The Manager was so please with me that she wanted to offered me a job; all of which I am completely grateful to her for. I am currently now a part-time retail sales associate at the MOCA gift shop and I really enjoy the whole learning process. All of the staff are wonderful even more Mrs. Charlotte :) I am pretty sure that whereever you decide to volunteer you can't ever go wrong when deciding to volunteer at MOCA!
