Mission Statement

Friends of the Cancer Center is a community of dedicated volunteers who nurture,support, and guide cancer patients and their families through a profoundly emotional time to improve the quality of our patients' lives.

Description

Volunteers assist the Cancer Center staff, patients, and their families by serving patients in the lounge snacks, esort patients, greets and directs patients, assist with resource area, provide compassion and genuinely support patients. Volunteers work a 4 hour shift, usually 1 day a week, Monday-Friday.
