To provide increased opportunity, education and inspiration to the young people of Washington, DC and the surrounding area through ice skating and educational activities.

Description

We serve thousands of children and youth per year with a variety of programs and services offered through Friends of FDIA and our partnerships with other community organizations.
Our programs aim to break down barriers to ice sports and create a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for the most vulnerable children in the nation's capital.
Programs include skating classes (learn to skate, advanced figure skating, ice hockey, and speed skating), and partnership programs with area neighborhood summer camp groups and DC Public Schools.
