The Shelter is a private non-profit organization beginning its 33 year of serving abused children in Lexington County, SC.

I was a child at the children's shelter. I knew Mrs Nancy. She would take time out of her schedule to come and drive me to my volleyball and basketball games. She had us in her home, and loved us like she gave birth to us herself. She died in 2007, and I miss her terribly, but she is NOT forgotten. Her legacy is this shelter, so therefore, I will always be a part of doing what I can for it.

i love kids and i would like to help brighten their day by doing what ever i can. like reading,giving them a hug or just spending time with them.
