Dakota County Community Services

Mission Statement

The mission of the Dakota County government is to provide efficient, effective, responsive government that achieves the Board of Commissioners' vision for Dakota County: a premier place in which to live and work. Community Services is a division within Dakota County in which housing and homeless services reside. The division has a cross-departmental team within Social Services and Employment/Economic Assistance, dedicated solely to families, called the Supportive Housing Unit.
