Mission Statement

The intent of CASA of Laramie County is to provide a court-appointed voice for abused and neglected children thereby advocating a safe and permanent environment in the community for children to grow and develop into stable adults.

Description

Citizens over age 21 are trained to be a voice in the juvenile court system, representing an abused or neglected child, age 0-17. Volunteers interact with the child and everyone involved in the child's case in order to provide information to the judge in the child's best interest that hopefully results in permanency sooner.
