Description

The Smithsonian American Art Museum's main building, the historic Patent Office Building located in the revitalized arts district of downtown Washington, is currently undergoing an exciting renovation and will re-open to the public in 2006. The Renwick Gallery is SAAM's branch musuem for decorative arts and crafts, housed in a historic architectural landmark building across from the White House.
