Mission Statement

Allied Theatre Group (Stage West and The Fort Worth Shakespeare Festival) produces year-round live theater in vivid and intimate settings with an emphasis on outstanding professional performances. Programming consists of the work of new and contemporary voices as well as American and world classics. Plays are chosen to entertain while promoting a deeper understanding of the human condition. Complementing this objective is a commitment to introduce younger audiences to professional theater through school outreach programs and severely discounted student tickets.

Description

This year, approximately 10,000 people will attend the season of six plays of which five are regional or national premieres. Our audiences include many students, teachers, and senior citizens who are able to attend at deeply discounted prices under a variety of special ticket purchase arrangements. The run of each production also includes two â  Pay What You Canâ  nights, where anyone can attend for a minimum of $5.
