Mission Statement

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is made of of regional affiliates, each supporting the organization's objective of doubling the rate of pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest relativer survival rate of all of the cancers tracked by the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI), with a five year survival rate of just 6%. Currently, only 2% of money allocated to the NCI is designated for pancreatic cancer research.
