The mission of the Museum of Science, Boston is to stimulate interest in and further understanding of science and technology and their importance for individuals and society. The Museum of Science, Boston is one of the leading, informal science educational institutions in the United States. The Museum takes a hands-on approach to science and attracts more than 1.8 million visitors annually. Visitors, both adults and children alike, experience science in a fascinating, personal way by interacting with hundreds of permanent exhibits, frequent temporary exhibits and countless other programs offered at the Museum.
