Description
The David Center was founded in 1999 by Dr. Patricia Elvir, a pediatrician, and her husband, W. James Pons, after they became aware of how difficult it is for parents of children with ASDs to identify and access the information, support, and programs their children need to meet their fullest potential. With a board of directors made up primarily of parents of children on the autism spectrum, The David Center has been a leader in the raising awareness, providing information and support, and empowering parents, families, and professionals.
