Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
T&W was founded in 1967: 1) to form an association of artists to develop and carry out programs designed to foster creative and relevant ways of teaching literature and writing; 2) to develop a collaboration between classroom teachers and professional artists; 3) to involve teachers, students and writers in the development of new English curriculum to meet the needs of students in urban, suburban and rural school systems; and 4) to create and distribute books and materials on teaching imaginative writing.
T&W was founded in 1967 by a group of writers and educators who believed that professional writers could make a unique contribution to the teaching of writing and literature.
