Mission Statement

To enhance the status of the direct support professional (DSP). To provide better access to high quality training for all DSPs. To strengthen relationships and partnerships between DSPs, self-advocates, familes, and other groups. To promote systems reform that improve access to education and career paths. To support the development and implementation of a national voluntary credentialing process for DSPs by working with the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (www.nadsp.org).
