Description
The hospice volunteer program gives comfort and care to people in your community. The importance of our volunteers cannot be overstated. Without volunteers, we could not provide the variety or the scope of services that are so urgently needed for patients patients and their families. Hospice was developed in response to a community's needs and it is necessary for members of the community to share in and contribute to its well-being. Volunteers serve as a crucial link between hospice and the community to provide mutual support and information sharing. For the safety of our patients and employees, all volunteers are required to complete drug testing and background checks. Training is provided as part of your volunteer experience.
