Description

Our Vision is to see every Oregon child safe, healthy and nurtured and every parent, especially those most vulnerable, with access to child development knowledge, resources and supports to be the best parent possible.

Our Work includes making strategic investments in proven, community-based child abuse prevention programs across Oregon, executing public awareness and education campaigns related to child abuse prevention, and conducting research and policy analysis on emerging best practices.

Looking Forward we are collectively bringing together state leaders to have a greater impact on children and families, with the goal of reducing the number of children who experience abuse or neglect in Oregon by 40% by 2020. These benchmarks represent 4,021 additional children kept safe in healthy, thriving families annually by 2020.

Everyone has a role to play as an advocate, nurturer or partner in strengthening families to end child abuse in Oregon.
