The Snohomish County Center for Battered Women is dedicated to ending domestic violence by providing a wide range of services to victims of domestic violence, including their children, and by facilitating social change.

Description

The Snohomish County Center for Battered Women (CBW) is the only confidential shelter in Snohomish County. The agency provides confidential shelter, food and clothing for women and children trying to escape domestic violence. Support services include a crisis hot line, transitional housing, children's programs, parenting classes, legal advocacy, rental assistance and access to clothing and furnishings through the New & Again thrift store. The crisis line handles more than 5,000 calls per year from the community. CBW also does community outreach and education and works with the homeless that are displaced due to domestic violence.
