Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

Our mission is bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.
We have a focus on those who are elderly, veterans, disabled or families with children, especially those living in poverty or very low-income. Our goal is to make a sustainable impact in a community via partnerships with organizations, municipalities and local civic associations.
Our fundamental objective is to preserve low-income home ownership by restoring safe and sanitary living conditions. Our home improvement projects are customized, based on the needs of the family and condition of the house. We select meaningful home improvements that are significant, immediate and long lasting.
Our mission is to address quality of life issues by helping with needed home repairs & revitalization, support community development projects and repair assistance to needy non-profit facilities. We have a particular focus on low-income homeowners, especially those who are elderly, disabled and families with children. Home repairs are some of the activities, but not the objective. Home repairs are a means to address the objective to help improve security, comfort, independence of low-income homeowners and sustainable community development. There are additional objectives that we should keep in mind that include: improvement of unsafe & unsanitary conditions, reduction of home injuries, retention of affordable housing stock, investment protection, improvement of homeowner pride, empowerment of local associations and crime prevention. Our objectives are not only to help low-income homeowners, neighborhoods and needy non-profit entities, but also to engage multiple organizations to address a common community need.
