Mission Statement

The TACC, established in 1955, is a forward thinking membership organization which provides opportunities for consistent and sustainable long-term business growth! The TACC is creating a strong, interconnected business community where strength through collaboration and power through partnerships makes Business Soar. We do this by building a strong local economy, providing business networking, being involved in our community and representing the interests of business with government.

Description

The Tigard Chamber has 3 primary focuses, that of a Chamber of Commerce focused on the above mission, a local Visitor Center utilized by the community and visitors, and a Farmers Market.

The Chamber achieves it's above mission through:

  • The provision of over 100 face to face and 10 virtual networking opportunities for members
  • Business education through lunch and learns, an online business accelerator and business check out library
  • Promotion of member businesses, member to member discounts and business and community connections, strengthening the local economy
  • Giving back to the community through non-profit donations, a Community Awards event recognizing volunteerism, business and scholastic achievement, connections through our Farmers Market and our Visitor Center
  • Advocating for business with government through our Gov't and Public Policy Committee, connections with city, county and state officials and membership in the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce
