Mission Statement

1.1 billion people worldwide do not have access to safe water. A child dies every 15 seconds from a water-related disease. WaterAid works in partnership with communities in some of the world's poorest countries, teaching them to build and maintain their own water and sanitation facilities, such as latrines and tap stands, making the most fundamental difference to people's health and quality of life.

Description

WaterAid works in Africa and Asia to provide the world's poorest people with their most basic need: access to safe water and effective sanitation. This organization is seeking funds from contributions and grants. These funds will be used for unrestricted operating expenses and special projects.
