Mission Statement

Urban Hoops & Dreams Inc. is a New York City based organization supporting the educational, physical and social development of urban youth by way of providing specific developmental programs for children of the urban landscape. Programs the Organization provides currently include (1) academic tutorial services combined with instructional sessions in the fundamentals of basketball; (2) independent weekend basketball clinics; and (3) general officiated open run play. Further, the Organization also hosts several youth tournaments under the Urban Hoops Basketball mantra through the school year. Teams are evenly distributed, and the skillset of each child is developed via practices and live officiated play.
