FIRST 5 of Santa Clara County supports the healthy development of children through age 5 and enriches the lives of their families and communities.

Description

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County was formed when the voters approved Proposition 10 in November 1998. Funds from Proposition 10 are intended to promote, support and improve early childhood development from the prenatal stage to 5 years of age. FIRST 5 intends to accomplish this by concentrating efforts on resources and programs that emphasize health care, family support, parent education and child development through various county initiatives.
