The Ambassador organization is here to help provide outstanding college-bound high school women with opportunities to win scholarships and to encourage personal development.

Description

Each year at Spud Fest, 4 girls are chosen to represent Big Lake at various communities in the surrounding area in their parades and local celebrations. The girls do a large amount of community service in their own community (Big Lake) as well as Monticello, including working the Food Shelf, BINGO at the Nursing Home, SHARE, face painting at many local events, etc. The girls are awarded a $500 scholarship after completing their first semester of post-secondary schooling.
