The goal of Day Care Connection is to serve the children for they are our gift, our obligation & our future.

Our mission is to improve the quality of child care through services to parents, providers & the community. We recognize the field of child care for both caregivers & and those seeking care is primarily an unprecedented one. It is our endeavor to assist anyone in this journey.

As resources are available, we pursue this goal & mission through various methods.

Description

Child Care Referrals & Counseling for Those Looking For &/or Using Care

These activities include services as defined by the National Association for Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies & in compliance with the Kansas Department of Health & Environment licensing requirements.

Training, Support & Technical Assistance to Child Care Providers

These activities may include but are not limited to: trainings, a variety of resources & CACFP sponsorship.

Child Advocacy & Community Collaboration

These activities include provision of staff time & expertise to endeavor community advocacy & service efforts.

I would like to volunteer at our childcare center because I'm very good with handling kids and getting along with them. Some reason I connect to kids a lot Maybe it's because i'm a kind and fun person to be around. I would love to do it to help out around my community,and it could look very nice on my school background when I start applying for colleges.
