Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Foster Grandparent Program of the Mid-Willamette Valley brings together qualified seniors and at-risk youth for their mutual benefit.
Foster Grandparents are individuals 60 and over living on qualified incomes who make a commitment to volunteer at least 15 hours a week serving children in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Foster Grandparents serve children with a variety of special needs in public schools, day-care programs, correctional facilities and Teen Parent Programs. The Foster Grandparent Program receives approximately 80% of its funding from the Federal Agency, the Corporation for National and Community Service. (The Foster Grandparent Program is a part of CNCS through the National Senior Service Corps, as are the Senior Companion Program and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.)
