Mission Statement

• Promote, develop, and protect the practice of social work and social workers;
and
• Seek to enhance the effective functioning and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through its work and through its advocacy.
Description
The NASW Chapter provides information to social workers and other helping professionals around professional growth opportunities and events in Delaware. The chapter has been revitalized over the past two years and is experiencing significant growth. Our goal is to better prepare professionals providing services to those in need, and volunteers help make this happen. We are losing social workers to other states and we want to attract them to Delaware where there is a serious need.
