Mission Statement

Our mission is to prevent American mustangs and domestic horses from being abused, abandoned, neglected and ultimately sent to slaughter through rescue, adoption, sanctuary, education and horse inspired growth and healing programs.

Description

Lifesavers is the largest wild and domestic horse rescue in the world. Since 1997 we have rescued more than 1000 horses. In addition we have facilitated the rescue of almost a 1000 more for other groups.

We have very active programs of education and healing including APT (Adoption Preparation Training), Happy Horse Academy (Natural Horsemanship instruction), Red Horse Nation (Native American healing), Wild Horse Boot Camp (Gentling workshop), Wild Horse Warriors (partners with Wounded Warrior Project) and our Horse Inspired Growth and Healing (HIGH).
