Mission Statement
The Rural Health Service Corps is an AmeriCorps National Service Program administered by the Rural HealthNetwork of South Central New York. The purpose of the Rural Health Service Corps is to provide meaningful service and learning opportunities for young people committed to improving the health and lives of those living in South Central New York State.
The mission of the Rural Health Network of South Central New York (RHNSCNY) is to promote and improve the health of rural communities and strengthen each community's capacity to respond to health needs by reducing barriers and improving access and use of health and human services through advocacy, communication and partnerships. The RHNSCNY serves Delaware, Tioga and rural Broome County.
