Mission Statement

The mission of the Maryland RC&D Volunteer Program is to identify and complete a variety of community based projects that will enhance the quality of life for the people of the Eastern Shore. RC&D will work to motivate and inspire volunteers to gain new skills and pride through personal accomplishments. Volunteer's will also develop a sense of leadership in their community and responsibility for conservation of natural resources.

Description

RC&D is committed to conserving the environment of the Chesapeake Bay region. We believe a major part of this effort should be through the use of volunteers, lowering the cost of the environmental restoration and empowering community members to become stewards of the land and water.
