Mission Statement
Founded in 1965 to further the cultural development and appreciation of the visual arts in Florida. An all women's volunteer organization devoted to fund-raising projects to provide financial dupport for the Orlando Museum of Art.
Description
The Council of 101 volunteer members conduct 2 major events each year to raise money for the Orlando Museum of Art. The first is the Antiques Vintage and Garden Show in February. Expert antiques dealers and internationally known speakers participate in the quality show which features fine furnishings, decorative arts and unique antique collectibles. The second major event is the Festival of Trees in November. Fiest presented in 1986, the Festival of Trees transforms the Orlando Museum of Art into a glittering wonderland replete with sparkling designer trees, vignettes, stunning decor for visitors of all ages. Special activities include patron gala, musical performances, festive evening events. Trees, wreaths gingerbread houses and decorative accessories for your home or business are available for purchase.
