Mission Statement

Sustainable Atlanta’s mission is to serve as a catalyst, connector, convener and facilitator for a green and inclusive economy in Atlanta. We strive to make Atlanta a city with resilient natural systems that will support prosperity for all, for generations to come.

Description

As a non-governmental 501 (c) 3, Sustainable Atlanta serves as a catalyst and facilitator for sustainable progress in Atlanta as well as an external resource in the City of Atlanta’s sustainability programming. Its core focus lies in convening leaders from business, non-profits, academic, civic and governmental sectors to develop sustainable policy and programs for those who live, work and play in Atlanta. Sustainable Atlanta leverages its expertise to help orchestrate strategy, best practices, policies and programming that make Atlanta, citizens and organizations more bottom-line efficient, environmentally responsible and competitive when attracting employers/jobs.

Sustainable Atlanta is a corrupted Organization. Its "Look Up Atlanta" website and content is run by S. Briskey. He exclusively, and not by the imput of the community nor people at large, determines what is "social good" for Atlanta; who gets to volunteer; what campaigns are "acceptable" and should take place; and what should be posted for the organization and its website. The Organization claims its "Earth Friendly," yet its sponsored by pro-illegal littering/dumping forces, including Mayor Kasim Reed, superconservative "anti-free speech" Republicans of the Georgia Assembly and Coca Cola. These people and COKE oppose pro-Green Container Deposits and Comprehensive Recycling rules. Over 30 Georgians are KILLED annually in litter/debris caused vehicle and other accidents. ATL is TRAVEL+LEISURE's #5 "America's Dirtiest City" and GA, the #7 Worst for unclean public spaces in the Am. State Litter Scorecard. GA's THE #50 "bottom" state by stateintegrity.org for least open, most corrupt govt.
