Mission Statement

The 100 Black Men of Triangle East is devoted to improving the quality of life for African-Americans - in particular young males - through programs focusing on mentoring, health & wellness, education and economic empowerment.

100 Black Men of Triangle East provides programs and services to youth and community in the program areas of mentoring, education, economic empowerment, and health & wellness.

The Chapter conducts a Youth Enhancement Academy mentoring program focused on young, African American males between the ages of 13-18. In addition the Chapter awards college scholarships each year to seniors attending its YEA program who plan to pursue higher education. The mentoring program also includes STEM initiatives including a robotics program, entrepreneur activities including a game software company project and other youth focused activities.

The Chapter also delivers programs in health and wellness, including community health fairs and prostate cancer awareness campaigns; in education including public education advocacy and "adopt a school" programs and; economic empowerment including financial literacy programs to youth and community, school and community based garden programs focused on sustainability, and other community service programs.

We also partner with local non-profits, corporations and other organizations to leverage the collective resources to increase community impact.
