REI is a nation wide out door gear consumer cooperative. As REI's members are also our owners, a focus on great products, superior service and actively working to support member needs and meeting member expectation are of great importance. In addition to fulfilling our members' expectation for outdoor gear and information, we also work hard as a company to ensure that natural places are available where members can enjoy the outdoors and outdoor recreation. We do this through a commitment of volunteer time, company donations and leadership within our communities and industry. Many thousands of hours of volunteer time, millions of dollars and ongoing collaborative efforts by REI and our partners are all helping to ensure that outdoor recreation is available and accessible to all.
