Provide free income tax return preparation and counseling to low- to middle-income taxpayers, with emphasis on those age 60 and older

AARP Tax-Aide is an AARP-IRS partbership that has existed for over 35 years with over 32000 volunteers. All volunteers with computer knowledge receive free training in January every year to become IRS certified. Volunteers pledge to work a minimum of 4 hours per week for 10 weeks. Volunteers do not accept payment or gratuities from taxpayers assisted>
