Mission Statement

  • To serve and help children and elderly (children and elderly orphans, handicapped or abandoned in the street), gain self-respect and realize their full potential, by improving their living conditions;

  • To work with the poorest and most vulnerable communities in their struggle for social, educational and economic self-sufficiency, by providing them with the tools needed to build such self-sufficiency and engaged members of their society.

Description

Founded in United States (Boston, Massachusetts) by Valcer Charles after the quake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, the BETHESDA HAITI FOUNDATION is a Haitian nonprofit charitable foundation dedicated to work with the poorest and most vulnerable Haiti’s communities , particularly person in difficult position such as (children and elderly orphans, handicapped or abandoned in the street) by providing them with educational trainings, community organizing, leadership development and open space to grow and create a better future for themselves.
