Mission Statement

The Philadelphia Freedom Band is a group of people who love to play music in large and small ensembles. Many of us played instruments in our high school and college bands. Others are professionally trained musicians. We’ve come together to practice our skills and perform for the public. We welcome anyone who wants to play in a concert band with others in community.

Description

We have a concert band, marching band, jazz band and brass ensemble. We need volunteers for all three.

At concerts, we need ushers and front house staff.

In parades, we need banner carriers, water carriers and literature distributors.

For jazz band and the brass ensemble, we need audience managers.
